Saturday 6 June 2026 Meeting Sir Geoff Hurst! Representatives of our school Hurst Hawks team had a day to remember in Ashton-under-Lyne today when they met Sir Geoff Hurst. The special event was to mark the unveiling of a wall mural to commemorate Sir Geoff, who was born in Ashton, and his 1966 World Cup win (and hat-trick).
